Episode #4: How We Met... You NEVER KNOW
We met on a Southwest Airlines flight. Neither one of us looking, and Jennifer wasn't "ready for primetime" when we met.
You'll never guess what allowed her to "open up" and talk on the flight...
For me, I had been divorced for over a year and wasn't interested in a "relationship." I had my kids... and there was NO way I was getting married again. With that being said, we were both in totally different places at the time, yet what I learned from my previous relationship was crucial in setting myself up for success with Jennifer.

Episode #3: #MeToo
Jennifer and I both agree the #MeToo movement was necessary, yet it was politicized and taken too far. Unfortunately, it has changed many men's stance on how they, or if they interact with women in some professional or social situations. For example, I ALWAYS turn on a audio recorder if I am meeting with a women and there is no one else present. If I don't know her, the meeting is ALWAYS in public.

Episode #2: Being Open to Knowing You Don’t know it ALL
In business, successful business people KNOW they must be open to learning what they don’t know in order to grow their biz. In business, we don't know it all... so we must take a similar stance in our relationships and stay open-minded and open to growth and change. Simple Adjustments.
Our Strategy
- Attend at least one, often times two personal development program together to grow. Just like you do in business. If you're not attending conferences, seminars or events for your biz... well, you need to do that as well.
- Dispelling the myth that MEN won’t change or grow… they will with the right partner… and that goes the other way as well.
ACTION STEPS: Make a commitment with your partner… 1x per qtr… 1x per 6 months… etc and review YOUR business of love.

Episode #1: Take it Slow

The Business of Love - Episode #1
The Business of Love podcast parallels your intimate relationship with business practices. Most people will do whatever it take to make changes in business, develop new skills in order to grow the business, yet if we approached our relationship with the same pro-active manner we do in business, our relationship will improve as well.
TAKE IT SLOW… you have a lot of work to do on YOU before you can be successful in a relationship… just like a business needs a lot of work prior to turning profitable.
- Developing YOU before you Dive into a Relationship
- When we met… the “place” that we both were in.
For instance, I came into the relationship NOT needing a relationship, yet needing MORE to work on myself. (prob true for most ppl)
- The Dance… on how many ppl make the mistake of “overplaying” your first few experiences… rather than setting up expectations of REAL you.
ACTION STEPS: Work on YOU. RATE YOURSELF 0-10
- Loving
- Kindness
- Patient
- Understanding
- Supportive
